Position: Full-Time Mat Maker

This entry-level position involves hands-on responsibilities in the Mat Making department. You will be shovelling rubber dust, ensuring proper operation of machinery, and maintaining cleanliness in your work area. The role requires adherence to workplace safety and effective teamwork to achieve production targets while minimizing absenteeism rates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safe workplace procedures and wear required PPE

• Shovel and screed rubber dust using correct methods

• Place mats on pallets with accurate tagging

• Operate overhead crane-hoist and its controls correctly

• Maintain a tidy work area consistently

Requirements:

• Forklift and Bobcat training required

• Ability to perform shift-work and endure physical labor

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility and adaptability in a team environment

• Own CSA approved steel-toed footwear
