Senior Business Analyst/ Process Architect
Structure Craft Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada
About this positionWho We Are:
Structure Craft is a unique, vertically integrated design-build company of 200+ structural engineering and construction professionals that specializes in timber structures, incorporating steel, glass, concrete and other materials.
Since our beginning in 1998, our team has pushed the boundaries in complex geometry, optimization, digital fabrication, material testing and research. We are involved in mass timber structures, long span roofs, tall wood buildings, free-form timber structures and bridges. Our work has been recognized nationally and internationally, including numerous engineering awards for innovation in timber construction.
We are rooted in our mission of “making beautiful structures possible,” which harnesses both traditional principles and paradigm-shifting innovation to bring the inherent properties of materials to their highest use. As a firm of master engineers and timber construction experts with offices in Canada, US, and Italy, we partner with world-renowned developers, owners and architects to create structures that are elegant in their own right, and also serve the greater good of a community.
Our head office and shop is located in the beautiful Fraser Valley, just an hour east of our Vancouver office, and close to the growing Abbotsford airport. Our US office is located in Seattle, WA and European office in Trento, Italy.
Why this role existsStructure Craft is running a multi-year digital transformation: replacing our ERP with Epicor Kinetic, building Structure
CraftOS - our company-wide system of work - and laying the groundwork for analytics and AI-assisted operations. Process definition sits upstream of every ERP module, every integration, and every future automation.
You will be the dedicated owner of Structure Craft's process architecture. You verify and govern the company process map as the single source of truth, and you hand verified process definitions to the ERP and Structure
CraftOS configuration teams.
You take the mapping load off functional leads and subject-matter experts: they validate what you model - no new tools or standards for them to learn, at a low time cost to them. That matters, because they are carrying ERP training and design workshops at the same time. This is a senior, hands‑on role: the map you own decides how our systems are configured and how the company runs.
Keyresponsibilities
- Own the company process map end to end: the modeling standard, the process hierarchy, and the sign‑off ritual - act as editor‑in‑chief of the single source of truth.
- Verify every in‑scope process with its function owner: facilitate working sessions, resolve open warnings and conflicts, and secure formal sign‑off.
- Model as‑is and to‑be processes in BPMN 2.0; establish and maintain SIPOC definitions and RACI assignments across finance, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain - today these are a structure to fill, not a set to maintain.
- Link processes to systems and map each process to the systems that execute it and the data it owns or consumes; feed ERP configuration, integration design, and reporting requirements.
- Operate and co‑develop the Process Atlas, Structure Craft's own process platform: you are its daily superuser and content steward, and you shape its product backlog together with our software engineer.
- Own Structure Craft's target‑state process design and carry it into the ERP implementation: our implementation partner configures Epicor, they do not write our process definitions. You translate signed‑off processes into configuration‑ready form and hold Structure Craft's position in design and…
