Forklift Operator

Position: Full-Time Forklift Operator
Doman Building Materials Group seeks a Forklift Operator in Abbotsford, BC.

Your role will focus on assembling orders and managing the safe loading of materials.

As a full-time employee reporting to the Plant Manager, you will efficiently pick and assemble orders while ensuring safety in yard operations. A clean work environment and adherence to safety protocols are paramount for this role. Your contributions directly affect customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload trucks with materials

• Assemble customer orders accurately and promptly

• Set up lumber for appropriate wrapping

• Assist with various labor tasks as necessary

• Keep the loading area clean and organized

Requirements:

• Must hold a counterbalance forklift certification

• Minimum one year of relevant experience is required

• Familiarity with lumber mills is desirable

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Steel-toed boots are necessary
