As a Machine Shop Helper, you will assist the team at AMH in the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines. This role is perfect for those in their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of apprenticeship, contributing to real-world manufacturing projects and enhancing your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC Lathes and Mills as directed
• Support production of diverse machine shop products
• Verify part quality against engineering drawings
• Aid in reporting maintenance needs of equipment
• Organize and handle materials properly
Requirements:
• Enrolled in machinist apprenticeship program preferred
• Capability to read and understand engineering blueprints
• Familiarity with Haas control systems beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management
• Ability to work independently in a safe manner
