This Packaging Associate role supports production under senior personnel and reports to a supervisor or manager. You will interpret standard operating procedures, work orders, and drawings while assembling products and packages. Attention to detail, quality standards, and safe lifting are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret standard operating procedures, work orders, and drawings
- Set up production for packaging activities
- Operate heat sealer, paper, and foam machines
- Assemble simple products and packages accurately
- Inspect products and components before preparation
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficiency using hand tools effectively
- Ability to understand instructions and specifications
- Ability to follow quality standards during assembly
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
