Abbotsford ICU Registered Nurse

Position: Abbotsford ICU Registered Nurse Role
Join Fraser Health as an ICU Registered Nurse at Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre. Deliver critical nursing interventions to patients with complex medical needs.

As part of the Critical Care Platform, you will provide around-the-clock patient care that includes assessment, planning, and execution of specialized nursing interventions for those in critical conditions. The role includes working with an interdisciplinary team to foster a comprehensive care approach while maintaining patient dignity and advocacy throughout treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients' conditions

• Write and implement effective nursing care plans

• Educate patients and families about their health

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Lead discharge planning and care coordination efforts

Requirements:

• RN registration from a recognized nursing school

• Current certification with BCCNM

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Previous ICU or critical care experience deemed advantageous

• Excellent communication and assessment skills
