Outpatient Nurse

Position: Outpatient Nurse - Fraser Health
Provide patient-centered care as an Outpatient Nurse with Fraser Health in Ambulatory Day Care. Deliver individualized nursing to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

This dynamic role offers the chance to address the needs of diverse patients in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for conducting detailed assessments, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and educating families about care processes. Collaborate with a skilled team to enhance health outcomes and ensure a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients, adapting care as needed

• Assist with endoscopic procedures and therapeutic interventions

• Collaborate with healthcare teams in care planning

• Document assessments and patient care accurately

• Engage in continuous education and quality improvement practices

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in B.C.

• Two years of relevant clinical experience in nursing

• Competence in conducting patient assessments and IV therapy

• Ability to work well within a collaborative team
