Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse Hemodialysis

Join our dynamic Renal Services team as a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse, Hemodialysis at Abbotsford Community Dialysis Unit in Abbotsford, B.C. Contribute to patient care with a focus on Nephrology in this supportive environment.

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality care during all dialysis phases. This role is ideal for those aspiring to enhance their expertise through Fraser Health's in-house Nephrology program. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team and clients to ensure excellent kidney care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement patient care plans

• Collaborate with RNs and nephrology team members

• Administer medications according to established protocols

• Facilitate patient education on care processes

• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance

Requirements:

• Post-basic education in Nephrology preferred

• Current registration with BCCNM

• One year of recent nursing experience in acute care

• Certification in CPR Level C and First Aid

• Strong communication and observational skills
