NICU Registered Nurse; Part Time Relief

Position: NICU Registered Nurse (Part Time Relief)
Become a vital member of the NICU team as a part-time Relief Registered Nurse at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Contribute to exceptional newborn care while working flexibly until September 2027.
This role involves working closely with families and newborns in alignment with Fraser Health and BCCNM standards. You’ll assess newborns, participate in high-risk deliveries, and collaborate for optimal patient care. The position offers a unique opportunity for nurses passionate about neonatal nursing and family-centered practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess newborns on admission and regularly during care

• Collaborate with specialists to develop care plans

• Provide accurate reports during shift changes

• Engage in Neonatal Resuscitation during deliveries

• Maintain thorough nursing documentation and records
Requirements:

• Active BCCNM RN registration required

• Minimum one year of recent neonatal care experience

• Completion of a Neonatal Nursing Program preferred

• Certifications in NRP and Basic Rescuer are essential

• Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
