Fraser Health seeks a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse for its Maternity team in Abbotsford, B.C. This nursing role requires one year of clinical perinatal nursing experience and will last until approximately May 2027. You'll assess, plan, and deliver person-centered care in a highly collaborative inter-professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission and after

• Collaborate with families and the care team for optimal care plans

• Coordinate nursing care and make necessary referrals

• Educate families about pregnancy, birth, and newborn care

• Document nursing interventions and evaluate care outcomes

Requirements:

• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• One year's recent perinatal nursing experience

• Postgraduate coursework or certification in perinatal nursing

• Valid Basic Rescuer and NRP Certificates

• Strong communication and teaching skills
