As a Registered Nurse in the Forensic Nursing Services program, you will bring your expertise in clinical assessment and evidence collection to ensure patients receive exemplary care. Your responsibilities will include developing individualized care plans, preserving forensic evidence, and maintaining accurate documentation. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will enhance your approach to patient-centered care and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patient conditions through detailed evaluations

• Develop personalized care plans with each patient

• Provide trauma-informed forensic care with respect and dignity

• Collect and preserve forensic evidence per established protocols

• Document case records and prepare legal reports as needed

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved Nursing School

• Current registration with BCCNM

• One year of relevant nursing experience

• Eligible for a recognized Forensic Nurse Examiner program

• Strong therapeutic and communication skills
