RN​/RPN Mental Health

Position: Fraser Health RN/RPN for Mental Health
Enhance mental health services as a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Fraser Health. This challenging role focuses on crisis intervention and treatment planning.

As part of the Fraser Health team, you will initiate and coordinate psychiatric care for clients in critical need. Your efforts will encompass comprehensive assessments and the provision of therapeutic interventions. Through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, you'll play an essential role in guiding clients towards recovery and healthy coping mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and develop care plans

• Support clients in crisis through intervention

• Collaborate with mental health professionals

• Document client history and treatment progress

• Promote client independence and community resources

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program

• Registered as RN/RPN with BCCNM

• A minimum of one-year mental health experience

• Standard First Aid and CPR certification required

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and vehicle access
