Relief Part Time Registered Nurse NICU

Contribute to newborn care as a part-time Relief Registered Nurse in the NICU at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, B.C. In this role, you'll provide essential nursing care that supports families and newborns.

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Relief Part Time Registered Nurse for its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit until approximately June 2027. This position requires demonstrated nursing knowledge and experience, particularly in assessing and managing neonatal care. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide Family-Centered Care while adhering to best practices in nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for newborns

• Write accurate reports and care plans

• Participate in high-risk deliveries

• Provide direct nursing care based on established guidelines

• Collaborate with specialists for optimal newborn care

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• 1 year’s experience in a neonatal unit

• Completion of a post-basic Neonatal Nursing Program

• Basic Rescuer and Neonatal Resuscitation certificates
