You will be responsible for providing effective nursing care to childbearing patients, conducting thorough assessments, and working with the health care team to tailor care plans. This role emphasizes the importance of advocacy, patient education, and collaboration within a therapeutic environment promoting both mothers' and infants' health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed assessments of maternal and fetal health
• Develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Provide health education and teach self-care strategies
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• Valid BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least one year of clinical experience in perinatal nursing
• Certification in Basic Rescuer (Level
C) and NRP required
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting
