Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and leadership within geriatric nursing. This role requires a minimum of three years clinical experience and one year of educational leadership. You'll lead direct patient care initiatives while delivering crucial education to staff and students, ensuring optimal care for acutely ill older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership in gerontological nursing practices
• Deliver education to staff and students at the point of care
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for older adults with complex needs
• Evaluate education program effectiveness for older adult care
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for enhanced patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Three years related clinical experience
• One year leadership or education experience
• Valid BC Driver's Licence
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
