Registered Nurse NICU Relief Position

Support critical newborn care as a part-time Relief Registered Nurse in the NICU at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in B.C.

Your role will be pivotal in providing exceptional nursing services to newborns and their families.

Fraser Health is actively looking for a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse for its NICU team until June 2027. This position focuses on comprehensive assessment and care for newborns, collaborating with care providers to establish best practices.

Your role will also include educating families and promoting Family-Centered Care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed risk assessments on newborn admissions

• Document patient care accurately and timely

• Engage in high-risk delivery scenarios as needed

• Modify care plans based on ongoing assessments

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Approved School of Nursing graduate

• Current practicing registration with BCCNM

• Recent one year experience in neonatal care

• Completion of a specialized Neonatal Nursing Program

• Required certifications in Basic Rescuer and NRP
