We are looking for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse dedicated to care for individuals facing mental health issues. This role involves conducting assessments, facilitating care plans, and fostering strong therapeutic relationships. More than just treatment, you'll empower clients and their families, promoting healthier lifestyles and cultural responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate client care in collaboration with teams
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations
• Provide nursing care including medication administration
• Engage clients to promote self-determination and independence
• Monitor clients and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements:
• Approved Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing education
• Minimum of two years' related experience
• Current BCCNM registration required
• Valid BC Driver's License and insurance
• Strong patient assessment and intervention skills
