Position: Sexual Health Nurse for Public Health Initatives
Be a key part of Fraser Health’s Sexual Health and Blood Borne Infections team in Abbotsford, providing full-time nursing support. This role focuses on sexual health services and client outreach initiatives.

As a Sexual Health and Blood Borne Infections Nurse, your work will involve testing, counseling, and case management for clients facing sexually transmitted infections. You’ll utilize harm-reduction strategies, collaborate with community partners, and develop effective health promotion activities to improve public health outcomes for at-risk populations. Your objective will be to ensure culturally safe and respectful support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sexual health clinical services both in clinics and outreach

• Manage case investigations for communicable conditions

• Educate clients on harm reduction and available resources

• Foster connections within healthcare teams for effective service delivery

• Analyze community health needs and develop targeted interventions

Requirements:

• Active RN license with BCCNM

• Completion of nursing program with public health focus

• 2 years' experience in STI/HIV management

• Valid BC Driver's License for transportation

• Strong communication skills for diverse populations

Contribute to advancing sexual health education and support in Abbotsford while working with Fraser Health.
