Position: Registered Nurse for NICU at Fraser Health
Join Fraser Health as a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse in the NICU at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. Your skills will directly enhance care for the most vulnerable patients in a supportive environment.

In this position, you will contribute to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team, focusing on providing high-quality nursing assessments and direct infant care. You’ll engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal planning and evaluation of care. This role is essential to safeguarding the health and well-being of newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate nursing assessments and initiate care plans

• Write detailed reports for patient care continuity

• Engage in high-risk deliveries and apply Neonatal Resuscitation

• Collaborate to modify care based on patient needs

• Participate in quality improvement and research activities

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM, with current practice license

• One year of recent neonatal experience required

• Post-basic certification in Neonatal Nursing or equivalent

• Current certifications in Basic Rescuer and NRP

• Ability to communicate effectively in stressful environments
