Position: Fraser Health Clinical Mentor - RN Role
Join Fraser Health as an RN Clinical Mentor, where you will empower nursing staff in Inpatient Medicine through expert mentorship and clinical guidance. Support quality care delivery and skill enhancement in a collaborative environment.

In this pivotal role, you will provide elbow-to-elbow support, assisting nursing staff with real-time mentorship and education. Your expertise will be essential in cultivating clinical excellence and safe practices, while fostering staff development through ongoing training and observations. Work closely with Nurse Educators to ensure that nursing practices meet both program and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide nursing staff in best practices and clinical skills

• Facilitate ongoing learning and development opportunities

• Collaborate with teams to identify educational needs

• Assess competency and provide constructive feedback

• Promote a culture of quality improvement and safety

Requirements:

• Active RN registration with BCCNM

• At least three years of nursing experience relevant to Inpatient Medicine

• Proven mentorship experience

• Leadership training or equivalent educational background

• Access to a personal vehicle may be necessary
