LPN Hemodialysis

Position: Full Time LPN for Hemodialysis
Fraser Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Hemodialysis team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, Abbotsford, B.C.

This role offers dynamic patient care opportunities in a specialized field.

You will be responsible for implementing, planning, and evaluating nursing care in hemodialysis, working closely with the nephrology team to ensure comprehensive patient support. Post-graduate education in Nephrology is required, or candidates must express interest in pursuing it. This position is integral to providing high-quality care and collaborative decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement individualized patient care plans

• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning meetings

• Conduct patient education on nursing procedures

• Document nursing interventions and patient outcomes

• Maintain safety standards in the clinical environment

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Minimum one year of relevant acute care experience

• Current registration with British Columbia’s nursing body

• CPR Level C and First Aid certifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
