Position: Fraser Health RN Mentor for Nursing Staff
Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse Clinical Mentor, focused on enhancing nursing skills and client care quality. This role emphasizes hands-on mentorship and clinical guidance for nursing teams.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Nurse Educators to offer elbow-to-elbow support and mentorship to nursing staff in the Medicine program. You will play a crucial role in cultivating professional development and clinical competence, reinforcing evidence-based practices, and identifying learning opportunities within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and clinical decision-making support

• Collaborate to evaluate staff learning needs

• Role model best practices within clinical settings

• Deliver direct feedback to ensure quality care

• Observe and support nursing processes and practices

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license with BCCNM

• Three years of relevant clinical experience

• Experience in mentoring nursing professionals

• Leadership training or equivalent experience required

• Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle may be necessary
