Position: Operating Room Nurse at Fraser Health

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing surgery. Your responsibilities include coordinating care according to physician directives, ensuring equipment is functional, and participating in continuous quality improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan individualized nursing care

• Coordinate and provide OR nursing according to orders

• Ensure all surgical instruments are in proper working order

• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the OR

• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• One year's clinical nursing experience in an OR

• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• Ability to manage emergency situations effectively

• Strong communication skills with diverse populations
