Elderly Care Registered Nurse Position

Fraser Health invites a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide direct care for acutely ill elderly patients. As a part of an interprofessional team, you will focus on patient assessment, collaborative care planning, and education for patients and families. This position requires both clinical expertise and a commitment to promoting respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete initial assessments and ongoing patient evaluations

• Collaborate with families in care plan development

• Provide health education and resources to caregivers

• Accurately document care procedures and patient responses

• Participate in nursing committees and mentoring programs

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse licensure with the BCCNM

• At least one year of recent acute care experience

• Strong organizational and collaboration skills

• Ability to address the unique needs of the elderly

• Physical readiness to perform nursing tasks
