RN Position in Medical Imaging Team

Contribute as a Casual RN in Medical Imaging at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. This role emphasizes proactive patient care and collaboration in imaging settings.

Ideal candidates will have a valid RN registration in British Columbia and at least one year of relevant experience. You will provide essential nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures while promoting evidence-based practices within the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct nursing care to imaging patients

• Assist in interventional procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse

• Evaluate patient conditions and implement care plans

• Communicate effectively with patients and families

• Document patient care comprehensively

Requirements:

• Current registration as an RN with BCCNM

• Completion of a high acuity specialty nursing program

• At least one year of medical imaging experience

• CPR certification is essential

• Skills in IV therapy and handling emergencies
