Position: Psychiatric Emergency Nurse Role
Enhance psychiatric patient care as a Psychiatric Liaison Nurse in the Emergency Department. Engage in crisis assessment, direct patient care, and multi-disciplinary collaboration to ensure effective mental health services.

This part-time role involves working directly with psychiatric patients, conducting intake assessments, and formulating care plans. You will collaborate with various healthcare professionals to address psychiatric needs and guide patients toward recovery-oriented resources. Your input will be crucial for optimizing patient care pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for psychiatric patients

• Facilitate effective communication among care teams

• Develop and modify care plans based on individual needs

• Document patient interactions per established standards

• Advocate for continuous quality improvements in care delivery

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Active registration as a Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse

• Minimum of one year experience in mental health

• Strong assessment and counseling skills

• Ability to lead and educate other staff members
