Community Mental Health Nurse, Part Time

Fraser Health seeks a qualified part-time Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse for Community Mental Health and Substance Use Services in the Abbotsford-Mission region. This position focuses on care coordination, assessments, and therapeutic interventions for clients.

As a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, you’ll develop personalized treatment plans while administering medication and conducting assessments.

Your role will include crisis intervention and empowering clients through education and support, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate care by assessing client needs and responses

• Perform direct nursing duties in compliance with standards

• Facilitate connections with community support services

• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients/families

• Maintain accurate and detailed care documentation

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program

• Two years of experience in mental health settings

• Current BCCNM registration required

• Valid BC Driver’s License

• Expertise in mental health assessment techniques
