Registered Nurse in Mental Health Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with healthcare teams for patient discharge needs

• Deliver short-term crisis counselling and follow-up

• Refer patients to suitable community treatment programs

• Ensure accurate client record maintenance

• Engage in research and continuous learning

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing

• active registration with BCCNM

• Two years of relevant psychiatric or crisis experience

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• In-depth knowledge of mental illness treatments
