Position: Fraser Health PACU Registered Nurse Role
Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), providing essential care during patient recovery. This role emphasizes teamwork and advancing your nursing career in a culturally diverse environment.

In the PACU, you will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients post-surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety in accordance with BCCNM standards. Collaborate with your colleagues to create and modify care plans while being a patient advocate. Your clinical expertise, especially in IV therapy, will contribute to a seamless recovery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patient conditions post anaesthesia

• Provide timely nursing interventions based on clinical needs

• Coordinate effectively with the health care team

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

• Document nursing actions and patient responses accurately

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved Nursing School

• BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• One year of relevant clinical experience

• Completion of post-graduate training or certifications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure
