Fraser Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in the PACU. This position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current registration with BCCNM. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering direct nursing care, and collaborating with an interprofessional care team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess post anaesthetic patients and evaluate their needs
• Provide critical nursing care as per physician orders
• Communicate with interdisciplinary health care team members
• Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks to support staff
• Maintain a safe environment following health protocols
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• One year of recent clinical nursing experience
• Proficient in intravenous therapy and patient assessment
• Ability to act in emergency situations calmly
