Position: RN/RPN in Psychiatric Care at Fraser Health

As part of Fraser Health’s esteemed team, you will provide coordinated psychiatric nursing care aligned with the BCCNM standards. Utilize your assessment and intervention skills in a collaborative atmosphere, engaging with patients and families to ensure recovery-oriented care. Emphasize patient rights and quality improvement while supporting the mental health community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate nursing assessments and intervention plans

• Support therapeutic programming on the unit

• Document care plans and patient education

• Collaborate with the interprofessional team

• Participate in nursing committees and initiatives

Requirements:

• Approved nursing education and current registration with BCCNM

• At least one year in mental health or comparable setting

• Strong crisis intervention and patient assessment abilities

• Knowledge of mental illness treatments

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
