Job SummaryJoin the Vascular Surgery team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital (ARH), a University of British Columbia affiliated teaching hospital and BC center of Excellence.

There is a high acuity component to this patient population, and a significant focus on patient education and optimization of therapy through both interventions as well as medical therapies
This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialized expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. This position requires someone who is team focused and wants to excel in their practice of acute medical/surgical patients.
Why join us?- Work alongside a highly supportive interdisciplinary team and experienced NP colleagues
- Care for a diverse, high-acuity patient population
- Access ongoing professional development and advanced clinical skills training
- Thrive in a collaborative environment that values NP leadership and practice excellence
ARH offers a multitude of program and community hospital services including medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, tertiary palliative care, helipad, as well as 24/7 emergency services to Abbotsford residents and regional services to about 330,000 residents of the eastern Fraser Valley including Mission, Chilliwack, Hope and with nearly 80,000 visits annually. ARH also provides a full range of scheduled outpatient services including diagnostic services, and specialized health clinics.
Abbotsford is in the heart of the Fraser Valley, one hour (70km) southeast of Vancouver’s city centre. This large rural city in the country is set against stunning views of British Columbia’s (BC) Coast Mountains and Washington’s Mount Baker. With a lower cost of living than Metro Vancouver, the area attracts residents who want a slower pace and enjoy a small-town feel.
Our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program offers a unique postgraduate experience that will elevate your skills and strengthen your transition into independent practice. As Vascular Surgery is a highly specialized area of practice, the residency will consist of dedicated time for both didactic learning and hands-on clinical experiences. The NP will gradually be oriented to the Vascular Surgery program at ARH while they are completing their residencies.
