Quality Control Technician

Become an essential part of Overlanders Manufacturing as a Quality Control Technician in Abbotsford, BC. This full-time role ensures the quality of precision sheet metal products through meticulous inspections and compliance checks.

In this position, your attention to detail is crucial in maintaining high standards. With 3-5 years of quality control experience, you will perform inspections on machined and sheet metal components, calibrate tools, and maintain quality records. Collaborating with the Foreman, you will implement corrective actions and support process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct first article and final inspections on components

• Calibrate measuring tools and maintain records

• Recommend improvements on inspection processes

• Collaborate to identify root causes of defects

• Complete quality and work order documentation

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in quality control in manufacturing

• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and processes

• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings

• Proficient in GD&T knowledge and quality management systems

• Strong analytical and time management skills
