Position
Position: Senior R&D Technologist
Reports To: Director, R&D
OpportunityIn this role, you will apply your food knowledge and creativity to develop and improve our plant‑based products. You will balance innovation with meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced food production environment, working on interesting R&D projects to contribute meaningfully, grow your knowledge base, and develop with the company.

- You can design and execute experiments and provide well‑researched recommendations.
- You can conduct technical literature searches; review, analyze, document data, and prepare timely reports.

- You can work hands‑on with allergens and baking ingredients.
- You can lift 12 kg.
- You are flexible to work evenings and weekends to accommodate production testing, when necessary.
- You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary.
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related disciplines.
- Good knowledge of experimental design and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of R&D processes.
- Experience and proficiency in data management and preparing practical technical reports.
- Experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Working knowledge of the structure and chemistry of food and standard food production processes.
- Working knowledge of process and product optimization.
- Understanding of food microbiology principles, typical spoilage organisms, and control strategies.
- Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite.
- 4+ years of R&D experience in a food production facility, with experience in bakery.
- Ability to create and manage databases.
