Asour Wine Ambassador, you will…
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and hospitable manner
- Facilitate wine experiences and food service in our winery boutique
- Promote all new wine releases, upcoming promotions, and Wine Club Memberships
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Process customer sales, provide guest service, set up for tastings and food service
- Identify opportunities to sell wine, Wine Club, and wine accessories
- Transition effectively between tasking, sales, service, and hospitality responsibilities as scheduled
- Work collaboratively with the entire Check Mate Team to ensure excellent service timing
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Liquidity wines, menu offerings, and merchandise knowledge to support exemplary guest experiences
- Complete duties including cleaning, polishing tasks, table maintenance, and general organization of restaurant
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality or retail environment
- Must have Serving It Right certification, as well as be of legal age to serve alcohol in BC
- Must be flexible as the hours of work will fluctuate with business volume
- Working days, evenings and weekends required
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position including lifting and carrying up to 40lbs, standing for extending periods of time
- You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable with change

- You are authentic, diplomatic, thoughtful, and always have the best intentions
- Serving experience considered an asset
- Starting wage is $22/hour determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education + Gratuities
