MCC Thrift Shop Associate

Join MCC BC's thrift shop team as a Thrift Shop Associate in Abbotsford. This casual role focuses on back-of-house operations while engaging with customers to foster a positive retail experience.

As part of MCC Clothing Etc., you will assist in various tasks, including inventory processing, customer service, and maintaining an organized shop environment. Your one year of retail experience, along with excellent communication skills, will enhance our community's thrift shopping experience by providing efficient service and friendly interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess incoming donations from customers

• Organize and price inventory for display

• Assist customers at the checkout and service desk

• Keep the retail floor clean and well-organized

• Collaborate with volunteers and staff to enhance operations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant retail experience

• Demonstrated commitment to Christian values and community service

• Satisfactory criminal record check required

• Flexible with work hours, including weekends

• Ability to handle physical tasks and lift items up to 50 lbs
