Position DetailsNason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Skilled Labourers for work at our project in Abbotsford, BC
- Schedule:
10 days on, 4 days off - Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Wages: $23.73 - $33.70
- Lifting, carrying material
- Spotting equipment
- Escorting material and equipment to and from the site gate
- Assisting trades with various tasks
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor and use of hands and tools
- Following safe work and quality policies and procedures
- Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily
- Assist equipment operators (excavators, skid steers) with safe trenching operations.
- Hand-dig, clean, and shape trenches to required depth, width, grade, and slope.
- Install trench shoring, shielding, or trench boxes as directed.
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Underground piping and trenching experience is a huge benefit for this role!
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
