Transform lives as a full-time NADAP Worker at Rainbow House Wellness Centre. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to provide essential support for community members' well-being.
The NADAP Worker role focuses on enhancing the physical, social, and emotional health of clients in need. You will coordinate referrals for education, prevention, treatment, and after-care support. This position requires expertise in facilitating workshops and individual health education while maintaining a holistic, ethical, and structured approach to client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive addictions support services and health promotion
• Facilitate weekly AA Meetings and manage client consultations
• Maintain organized monthly activity reports for the supervisor
• Build relationships with the Fisher River Cree Nation leadership
• Participate in program planning and resource management
Requirements:
• Diploma in Counselling/Therapy skills
• Experience in group sessions and one-on-one health education
• Strong ethical standards in client service
• Proficient in office skills and computerized systems
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License required
