Tenant Support Worker Position

Position: Full-Time Tenant Support Worker Position
Support individuals in finding independence as a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society. Engage in tenant support, crisis intervention, and personal empowerment in a full-time role.

As a Tenant Support Worker, you will report to the Site Manager, providing essential support services to residents. Your commitment to their well-being is crucial for enhancing their living arrangements and achieving stability. This full-time position requires you to assist tenants through assessments, service plans, and skills training while adhering to the organization's ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in tenant intakes and provide ongoing support services

• Develop service plans and conduct crisis intervention

• Ensure basic needs are met through long-term support

• Complete and maintain required paperwork and data

• Assist volunteers and practicum students on site

Requirements:

• Diploma in Community Social Service required

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector

• Training in First Aid and Food Safe certificates

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License if needed
