At Connective, we aim to create inclusive communities. As a Community Living Residence Worker, you will offer 1:1 support to an adult male client experiencing autism. This includes personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and crisis de-escalation skills. You will maintain a safe environment while working flexible hours during mornings, evenings, and overnights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support care plan development with the Program Manager
• Ensure residents adhere to facility rules
• Provide emotional support to residents and families
• Assist in social and recreational activities for residents
• Act as a positive role model and provide life skills training
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services with one year of experience preferred
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Autism experience and crisis response skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license for client transportation
