Position: Support Worker for Community Living Clients
Join Connective as a Casual Community Living Residence Worker in Abbotsford, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents. Your primary responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, and emotional support.

In this role, located in Abbotsford, BC, you will provide individualized support to an adult male client facing autism and behavioral challenges. Your work will enhance the quality of life for residents and maintain successful rehabilitation programs. Flexibility in scheduling, including mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts, is required for this casual position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to tailored care plans with fellow staff

• Ensure compliance with facility residency terms

• Offer emotional support to residents and their families

• Help facilitate recreational and educational activities

• Serve as a role model through life skills training

Requirements:

• Social Services Diploma with one year relevant experience preferred

• Professional or lived experience with vulnerable populations

• Familiarity with autism and crisis de-escalation

• Ability to perform physical tasks and first aid

• Reliable transportation for client support
