In this role, you will empower individuals by respecting their choices and advocating for their rights. With a focus on collaboration, you will coordinate and facilitate participation in community activities, helping clients build relationships within their networks. Your commitment to care will significantly contribute to each person’s lifestyle and community integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for the rights and choices of supported individuals
• Facilitate social and vocational opportunities in the community
• Build positive connections with families and community professionals
• Document daily health and activity information accurately
• Implement behavior management strategies effectively
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma
• 2+ years in community social services or health care
• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Valid BC Driver’s License and satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Criminal record clearance for working with vulnerable populations
Support individuals in their journey toward independence and enhance community inclusion at Pacific Coast Community Resources.
