Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Seasonal Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and possess the necessary certifications and experience to operate equipment safely.

• Operate forklifts safely
• Unloading and loading trucks, trailers and tractors
• Moving, stacking, and unstacking fruit bins inside and outside of the packing plant.
• Moving packed fruit and supplies around our facility.
• Carrying out checks and maintaining records required of the job.
• Working in a safe efficient manner, following applicable work safe and food safe requirements.
• Any other duties within the scope of the job that may be as assigned from time to time.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Support inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

• Proven experience with forklift operations
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Be a flexible team player who works well in a busy and demanding environment.
• Able to work for extended periods of time in a focused, safe, and professional manner and work all shifts as required.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
