Long Haul Truck Driver

Position: Full Time Long Haul Truck Driver
Join a dedicated team as a Full Time Long Haul Truck Driver in Abbotsford, BC, ensuring safe transport of goods. This is a permanent, physically demanding position requiring a Class 1 or A driver's license.

In this role, you will become part of a two-person driving team, loading and unloading goods while operating straight and articulated trucks. Your responsibilities will also include performing vehicle inspections, overseeing cargo security, and maintaining records for trips. This position requires travelling nationally and internationally, with extended hours on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive in a two-person team or convoy

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections

• Operate straight trucks and tractor-trailers

• Ensure safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

• Class 1 or A driver's license

• Secondary school graduation certificate

• Willingness to travel cross-border and overnight

• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• Flexible and organized with good judgement
