Position Details

Work Term:

Permanent.

Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week.

No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Experience:

Will train.

Early morning, Evening Shift, Morning Night, Day, Weekend, Overtime available.

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Provide mountain driving expertise.
• Maintain professionalism in customer service.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Perform pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.
