Adaptive Vehicle Driver Position

Become an essential part of our transportation services as an Adaptive Vehicle Driver.

Your role will ensure the safe transport of passengers while adhering to all safety protocols.

This position requires a valid driver’s permit class 4A/4B and a high school diploma. You will be responsible for supervising the loading and unloading of passengers, including those with disabilities. Familiarity with community routes and a proactive approach to safety is crucial for providing a comfortable and efficient travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise loading and unloading of passengers in adaptive vehicles

• Transport passengers safely to their designated areas

• Guide passengers to their seats and monitor behavior

• Operate adaptive vehicle equipment, including hydraulic lifts

• Complete mechanical inspections and report inconsistencies

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Valid driver’s permit class 4A/4B

• Excellent driving record

• Knowledge of safety and defensive driving practices

• Bilingual in Cree and English preferred
