Spare - Driver II

GFL Environmental is seeking Spare Drivers for their Residential Collection team in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Position is on‑call; candidates must maintain open availability for dispatch seven days a week.

Minimum Class3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement.

Collect and transport residential waste to GFL facilities, ensuring proper disposal.

Physical role; ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50pounds repetitively.

• Manually load recyclable waste into vehicle.
• Operate residential/recycling vehicle and hydraulic side‑load system.
• Drive truck and equipment safely using prescribed techniques.
• Maintain route quality standards.
• Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor.
• Keep accurate service records.

• Class3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50pounds repetitively.
• Demonstrated safe driving and equipment operation skills.
