Truck Driver

Position: Full-Time Truck Driver
Drive with purpose as a Full-Time Truck Driver in Abbotsford, BC. This role focuses on safe transportation and includes various driving responsibilities.

This permanent position invites candidates with an AZ class license and a commitment to customer service. Successful drivers will plan efficient routes, handle loading and unloading, and maintain vehicle conditions. Collaboration is essential as drivers may work in teams for long hauls across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools

• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently

• Maintain vehicle condition with pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Coach colleagues on best driving techniques

• Record trip details, including fuel consumption

Requirements:

• AZ class license and Class 1 or A Driver's License

• 1 month to less than 7 months driving experience

• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs

• Willingness to travel cross-border and overnight

• Basic security clearance and medical examination required
