Position: Paediatric Staff Nurse (Bank)

Paediatric Nurse (RSCN) | Vale Hospital | Paediatrics | Bank | Adhoc | Includes weekend work – Up to £22 per hour depending on experience

Main duties of the job

Bring valuable post‑registration experience, including work on the surgical ward, with a dual training approach that equips you for both paediatric and adult care environments. Ideally possess Intermediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification. Deliver exceptional care for children aged 3‑16 during pre‑ and post‑operative stay and at clinics and procedures. Support children through their hospital journey, acting as trusted support for patients and their parents or guardians.

Deliver high‑quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of the ward team. Broaden your skills across a variety of cases and work within different specialist areas. Benefit from flexible hours.

Person Specification & Qualifications
  • Registered with the relevant governing body, NMC certification.
  • Post‑registration experience in paediatrics or related field.
