Position Overview As a Porter, you will clean and maintain the administrative offices, warehouse and other assigned areas in order to satisfy company and governmental guidelines. You will clean and sanitize designated areas of a warehouse as well as tend to product spill clean-up. All of our employees are expected to make safety their top priority.##

Job Description
** You will contribute by:**- Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
- Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
- Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
- Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
- Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.

- Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
- Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
- Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
- Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
- Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
- Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

- Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
- Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
- Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
- Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
